Assignments for the week of October 22nd through October 26th

Monday 10/22

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Students will perform their Super Hero skits today. Students will use a sequence chain handout to revise and improve their skits. Sequence chain handouts will be due tomorrow.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Students will attend the school book fair for the first 20 minute of class. All final drafts of "What a Character" summaries are due today. Any student not finished with summary must complete summary for homework.
Homework: Read Language Arts books "bud Not Buddy", pages 100-108

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per:
Review early Human projects. Review answers in class. Due today.
Homework: Complete Chapter Review worksheet - this can be used on the chapter test for notes.

Tuesday 10/23

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complerte sequence chain worksheets for Super Hero skits.
 Onnce complete students will revise and rehearse their skits. Students will begin performing final skits today if time permits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review "Bud, Not Buddy", in class. Begin circle maps to describe characters in story - Bud, Jerry, and the caseworker. Homework: Complete circle maps with at least 8 words to describe each character.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Chapter 2 Early Humans Test. After test students can begin reading Chapter 3 pages 78-86.

Wednesday 10/24

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
 Complete Super Hero skits. Read and review Chapter 5 Movement in Drama books. Begin movement skits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Standards Skills Review Quiz today. Collect Circle maps for, "Bud Not Buddy".
Homework: Complete questions 1-4 p. 109 in Language Arts books.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Read and review Mesopotamia informationsal handout. Begin Mesopotamia quiz.
Homework: Complete Mesopotamia quiz

Thursday 10/25

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Rehearse and perform Movement skits

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Correct and collect "Bud, Not Buddy" questions 1-4 p. 109 from Language Arts books. Begin Storyboards for "Bud Not Buddy", complete for homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect Mesopotamia quiz. Read and review Chapter 3 in Social Studies books p.78-86.
Homework: Complete question number 2 on page 86.

Friday 10/26

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complete Movement skits. Discuss revising and final skits. Begin rehearsing for performance on Monday.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review collect and correct Storyboards for "Bud, Not Buddy". Begin Reading Focus handout - complete on Monday.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect Question #2 p. 86. View movie on Ancient Mesopotamia.
