Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Read and complete Chapter 3 Pantomime Tests in class.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Read and review story elements (setting, conflict, internal conflict, external conflict). Begin reading "The Bracelet" p. 38-47 in Language Arts.  Begin Sequence Chain assignment. HOMEWORK: Read "The  Bracelet" and complete Sequence Chains for story with focus on conflicts.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Review pages 38-43 in class. Begin Ch. 1 Summary Review Activity in class. HOMEWORK: Read pages 8-43 in social studies books. Review for Ch 1 Test tomorrow. Complete Summary Review Activity.

Tuesday 10/2

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Read and review Chapter 4 Improvisation. Begin Bus Stop skits. Review rules for drama and performing.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review, "The Bracelet" in class along with major details from the story. Collect Sequence Chains activities Begin Story Map Activities in class. HOMEWORK: Complete Story Map Activities.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Chapter One Test today - Open Book. After test collect Chapter One Review activity worksheet. No Homework tonight.

Wednesday 10/3

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Review Ch 4 Improvisation. Begin performing Bus Stop skits. Revise and rehearse.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period
Review Storymap activities in class. Begin Group Storymaps in class - discuss Sequence. No Homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Read Social Studies books pages 50-55. Begin Lesson One Activity Worksheet - HOMEWORK: Complete Chapter 2 Lesson One Activity Worksheet and read pages 50-55.

Thursday 10/4

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Review rules for drama and Improvisation. Revise Bus Stop skits, rehearse and perform.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Complete group storymaps and present in class.Begin story questions in Language Arts books p.47 1-4 and 6-8 in class.  HOMEWORK: Complete story questions from p.47 in Langauge Arts books 1-4 and 6-8.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect Ch 2 Lesson 1 Activity worksheet. Begin review questions p.55 2-7 Social Studies book in class. HOMEWORK: Complete review questions page 55 2-7 in Social Studies books.

Friday 10/5

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Review Ch.4 Improvisation - Begin Soap Opera Activity - Discuss story elements.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Discuss correct and collect "The Bracelet" story questions p.47 1-4 and 6-8 from Language Arts books. Write a one paragraph essay on "fairness" in class.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Discuss and present review questions p.55 2-7 fromSocial Studies books. Begin Mapping Activity in class.
