Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complete Storyboards and Summaries for Movement Skits. Begin Ch 5 Movement Test. Open book test.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Complete Storyboard summaries for "King of Mazy May". Begin Vocabulary Review for Ch. 2 Character. Homework: Complete Vocabulary Review assignment.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Read and review pages 88-95 in social studies books. Begin review questions 2-7 page 95 in class.
Homework: Complete review questions p. 95 2-7.

Wednesday 11/14

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complete Ch. 5 Movement Test open book. If time permits, switch to new groups. Introduce Ch.6 in Drama books - Stage Movement.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Correct and collect Vocabulary Review Ch. 2. Begin Brainstorm assignment for "King of Mazy May" essay.
Homework: Complete a brainstorm bubble map. In the center bubble write the words, "actions of justice". Write five outside bubbles listing actions you think you would take against the stampeders to ensure justice is served.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect review questions from p. 95 2-7. If time permits begin the Reteach Activity handout for Ch. 3 in class.
No homework

Thursday 11/15

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Review and rehearse new skits involving stage directions.Read Ch 6 on stage direction.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review and collect brainstorm activity. Begin 1st paragraph of essays. Review topic sentences, reasons, details and sentences. Develop 2nd, 3rd and 4th paragraphs using Paragraph Organizer handout.
Homework: Complete Paragraph Organizer

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Complete the Reteach Activity handout for Ch 3. Students will have entire period to complete the assignment.
Homework: Complete Reteach Activity handout if it was not completed in class.

Friday 11/16

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
6th grade jog-a-thon is today. Any student not participating will complete a simple vocabulary assignment for drama during this period.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Due to 6th grade jog-a-thon any students not participating will be down on the PE field during 2nd period. Pragraph Organizer assignment will be collected on Monday 11/19. 5th period will begin rough drafts of essay.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
3rd period only - Due to the 6th grade jog-a-thon students will be down on the PE field until the middle of 3rd period. Upon their return students will complete map activity handout. 6th period will also begin this assignment. This assignment and the Reteach Activity will be corrected and collected on Monday.

Perform final movement skit for scary stories. Begin movement worksheets for skits concernng movement. Assign characters in groups.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review and collect Circle Maps for "King of Mazy May". Complete review questions 1-4 p.133.
Homework: Complete review questions p.133 1-4.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Review pages 82-86. Begin questions 3-7 p.86.
Homework: Complete questions 3-7 p.86.

Tuesday 11/6

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complete Ch. 5 movement worksheet. Begin rehearsing and performing character skits. Complete and collect Character worksheets.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review "KIng of Mazy May". Describe Walt's Character using the Character Description worksheet.
Homework: Complete Character Description worksheet.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect review questions p.86 3-7. Begin diagram project found on page 87 Social Studies books.

Wednesday 11/7

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Rehearse and perform character skits. Revise and rehearse for final skits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Review and collect character worksheet. Begin questions 6-12 p.133 in language arts books.
Homework: questions 6-12 p.133 in language arts books.


Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Review and continue diagram projects in class.  

Thursday 11/8  
Exploratory Drama 1st period: Rehearse and perform final charcater skits. Begin Chapter 5 Movement Test.  

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period: Correct and collect questions 6-12 p.133. Quick Draw for 200 points in class "King of Mazy May". No Homework.  

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period: Complete Diagram Project page 87. Read and review pages 88-95 in social studies books. Homework: Read pages 88-95.  

Friday 11/9  

Exploratory Drama 1st period:
Complete Ch 5 Test open book.Begin Ch. 6 Stage Directions. Read Ch. 6 in Drama Projects books. Discuss new skits. 

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Begin "KIng of Mazy May", essay in class today. Complete on Monday in class.  

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period: Review pages 88-95. Begin Ch 2 workbook handout. Complete on Monday.   BOOK REPORTS ARE DUE NOVEMBER 20TH!
