Exploratory Drama 1st per :
Students will continue performing Soap Opera Skits from Friday. With time permitting students may revise skits today.
Language Arts 2nd and 5th per:
2nd period students only - Students will complete group storyboard posters for "The Bracelet" in class and present today.
5th period students only - Students will write a one paragraph response to the prompt, "What is fairness?". Students will use information from the story "The Bracelet" in their responses. Paragraphs will be collected at the end of the period.
2nd and 5th period - No Homework.
Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Students will begin review questions 2-7 p.55 in their social studies book. This assignment was not completed last Friday, so it is carried over to today.
Homework: Read pages 50-55 in social studies books and complete review questions on p.55 2-7.
Tuesday 10/9
Exploratory Drama 1st per:
Students will complete Improvisational Activity worksheet using information from their skit. Students need to list the main details of their skits on worksheet. Due tomorrow.
Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
All students will be taking standards review quiz.
2nd period students only - After quiz Students will write a one paragraph response to the prompt, "What is fairness?". Students will use information from the story "The Bracelet" in their responses. Paragraphs will be collected at the end of the period.
5th period students - After quiz students will begin reading "Wartime Mistakes" p.64-71 in their language arts books. Students will begin a sequence chain worksheet in class.
2nd and 5th period - Homework: Read "Wartime Mistakes" p.64-71 in language arts books. Complete sequence chain worksheet.
Social Studies 3rd and 6th per:
Collect review questions 2-7 p. 55. Begin Chapter Vocabulary using class handouts and Budget Vocabulary worksheet.
Homework: Complete Budget Vocabulary Matrix worksheet
Wednesday 10/10
Exploratory Drama 1st per:
Students will turn in Improvisational Activity worksheet. Students will revise and rehearse soap opera skits. Students will begin performing if time permits.

Students will review sequence chain worksheets. Begin Tree Mapping exercise in class for "Wartime Mistakes", using details from the story.
Homework: Complete Tree Map exercise.
Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Review Budget Vocabulary Matrix worksheets. Turn in today. Read pages 59-62 in class today. Review chart on p.58 Cause and Effect.
Homework: Copy and complete chart on page 58 and fill in details.
Thursday 10/11
Exploratory Drama 1st per:
Complete all Soap Opera performances today. Read Ch.4 in Drama books for improvisation. Begin fractured fairy tales.
Language Arts 2nd and 5th per:
Review Tree Maps for "wartime Mistakes". Discuss paragraph writing. Write a 5-8 sentence paragraph using the prompt found in language arts books p.72.
Homework: Complete 5-8 sentence paragraph response for the writing prompt found on page 72 of the language arts books.
Social Studies 3rd and 6th per:
Review cause and effect charts p.58 of social studies books. Begin cause and effect chart in class and complete for homework. Read pages 58-62 for information. Homework: read pages 58-62 in social studies books. Complete cause and effect chart.
Friday 10/12
Exploratory Drama 1st per:
Review fractured fairy tales. Rehearse and perform today.
Language Arts 2nd and 5th per:
Review paragraphs in class. Read and grade using class rubrics. Complete a Quick Draw in class for 200 points in class using details from "Wartime Mistakes".
Social Studies 3rd and 6th per:
Review cause and effect charts today in class. Begin review questions page 62.
