Monday May 6th

Drama 1st period:
Complete Stage Direction skits. Read and review chapter 6 Stage Direction - Begin new skits if time permits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Correct and collect Verb Exercise 3 p.52 of Grammar Books. Read p.53 in Grammar Books on Linking Verbs. Begin Exercise 4 p. 53 on Linking Verbs in class. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Read and review Social Studies books p. 378-383 Ancient Greece. Begin review questions 2-5 in class.
Homework: Complete questions 2-5. Do not do comparison chart for number 2. List 3 similarities only for number 2.

Tuesday May 7th

Testing schedule today:
Drama 1st period:
Review Chapter 6 Stage Direction- Review new skits, fables. Rehearse and perform if time permits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Complete Exercise 4 in Grammar Books p.53. Correct in class. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Review Ch.11 Ancient Greece. Begin Social Studies Benchmarks today - No homework.

Wednesday May 8th

Testing schedule today:
Drama 1st period:
Rehearse and perform fables today. Review for Ch.6 Stage Direction Test.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Read and review p.54 in Grammar books. Complete Exercise 5 p.54 in Grammar books in class. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Complete Social Studies Benchmark test today.
Homework: Complete Ancient Greece Sparta handout.

Thursday May 9th

Testing schedule today:
Drama 1st period:
Ch. 6 Stage Direction Test today. After test review Ch.8 Ensemble work.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period:
Correct and collect Verb Exercise 5 p.54 in Grammar books. Begin reading Ch.7 in Language Arts books p.675-679. Homework: Read "The Global Classroom", p. 680-684.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Correct and collect Ancient Greece Sparta handout. Review Ch. 11 Ancient Greece for Chapter 11 Test.

Friday May 10th

Testing schedule today
Drama 1st period:
Read and review Chapter 8 Ensemble Work. Begin new skit - Murder Mystery. Begin rehearsing.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th period
Read and review, "The Global Classroom", p.680-684 in Language Arts books. Begin review questions p.684 1-4 in class. Complete on Monday - This is not homework.
Book reports are due today!

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period:
Ancient Greece test today - Chapter 11.
Due to the testing schedule this week chapter 11 test may be postponed until Tuesday May 14th to give students time to review. Students may be given a study guide worksheet which we will begin today and complete on Monday as a class in order to review. If time allows the review study guide may be handed out on Thursday instead.
