Monday 12/3

Minimum Day

Exploratory Drama 1st per.
Students will continue with their 2nd fable presentation The Miller, His Son and Their Donkey. After presentation students will revise their performance and present tomorrow.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th per.
Students will continue to work on Exercise 2 p.243 in their Grammar books on Capitalization. Correct and collect in class. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per.
Students will continue their Ancient Mesopotamia Problem Solving project. Students will create a large diagram in groups to detail their problem and solution. No homework.

Tuesday 12/4

Exlporatory Drama 1st per
Students will begin revising their fables to reflect a modern twist on the story while preserving the overall moral of the story. Student will begin performing at the end of the period.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th per
Correct and collect Exercise 2 p.243 from the Grammar books on Capitalization. Review rules for Capitalization and begin exercise 3 p.244. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per.
Students will present their Mesopotamia problem solution projects to the class. Homework: Complete Lesson One handout Ch.4

Wednesday 12/5

Exploratory Drama 1st per
Students will complete final performances of their fables. Students will begin Chapter 6 Stage Direction Open Book Test and complete tomorrow.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th per.
Complete exercise #3 p.244. Begin exercise #4 pgs. 245-246 in Grammar books. No homework.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per.
Correct Lesson One Chapter 4 handout. Quiz for Lesson One Read pages 118-123 in class. No homework

Thursday 12/6

Exploratory Drama 1st per
Complete Ch. 6 Open Book test. Begin reading Ch 8 Ensemble Work. Pick new groups. Discuss rules for performing in Ensembles. Review new skits.

Language Arts 2nd and 5th per.
Correct and collect exercise #4. Begin comma lessons and exercise worksheet. Homework: Complete Comma Exercise worksheet.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per.
 Read and review pages 118-123 in class. Begin questions 2-7 in class. Homework: Complete questions 2-7 pg 123.

Friday 12/7

Exploratory 1st per.
Rehearse and perform new ensemble skits.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th per.
Correct and collect comma exrecise worksheet. Begin reading p. 268 in Grammar books for Comma rules. Begin exercise 2 p.268 - complete on Monday

Social Studies 3rd and 6th per.
Correct and collect review questions p. 123 2-7. Begin map activity worksheet. Complete on Monday.
