- Review Elements of ''A Story''- Begin reading ''Pricilla and the Wimps'' p.8-11 in L.A books. Begin Story Maps and Story Boards - No Homework.

Social Sudies 3rd- 6th period

- Read pages 4-13 in class. Begin review questions p.13 in class 2-7. Turn in at the end of period. Homework - Begin Map Worksheet - Locating Contients and Oceans.

Tuesday 9/11/12

Exploratory Drama 1st period

Continue magic Ball of Clay Activity. Begin Observation Activity Worksheet to describe your object of choice. Due tomorrow.

Langauge Arts 2nd - 5th period

Complete reading story "Priscilla and the Wimps" in class. Homework: Complete the Storyboard/ Storymap worksheet. Use 2-3 setences to describe each story element.

Social Studies 3rd - 6th period

Correct Recognizing Continents and Oceans worksheet. Complete review questions p.12, numbers 2-7 in class. No homework

Wednesday 9-12-12

Exploratory Drama 1st period

Complete Observation Activity worksheets in class. Read Drama Books pages 8-24. Begin "A Simple Activity" skit. Rehearse and perform today.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th period

Storymaps/Storyboards are due today. Begin Sequence Chain Activity with 5-8 sentence summary of the story due at the end of the period. Homework: Complete Viocabulary Review worksheet.

Social Studies 3rd and 6th period

Correct and collect review questions page 12, 2-7. Review worksheet Recognizing Symbols, Lines and Legends in class - 3rd period will correct in class. 6th period will begin in class and complete for homework. If time permits: All classes will begin Geography Themes Poster Project - Bring colored pens, pencils or crayons tomorrow.

Thursday 9-13

Exploratory Drama 1st period

Review and rehearse revised "a Simple Activity" skit. Begin "Trapped" skit. Discuss rules for performing. Rehearse today.

Langauge Arts 2nd and 5th period

Correct and collect Vocabulary Review worksheet. Review Elements of a Story (conflict, climax, setting, plot, resolution). Begin reading "All Summer in a Day' p 26-34 in Literature books. Homework: Complete Sequence Chain for All Summer in a Day.

 Students will work on Geography Themes Poster all period. No homework

Friday 9-14-12

Exploratory Drama 1st period

Rehearse and perform "Trapped" skits. Begin Storyboard worksheets for Trapped. Complete on Monday.
